Department of the Science of Living

The course consists of three fields: Media Society, Media Expression, and IT Media (newly established), which cultivate the ability to utilize social media and other diverse media, as well as planning and presentation skills. By fostering skills to create a variety of creative computer graphics and video, and by providing the knowledge and information processing skills necessary to pass the IT Passport exam, the course aims to cultivate women who are ready to work in companies and in communities.

This course aims to develop formative and creative ability related to Lifestyle Design in three areas: Formative Design, Interior Design, and Digital Design. Students have the opportunity to study a wide variety of production techniques, from dyeing, weaving and engraving to interior design and computer-aided design.
